Swiss eSAF producer Synhelion to receive German state funding
In the UK, SAF Investor reported that Swiss eSAF producer Synhelion will receive funding under the Produktives.NRW program from the North-Rhine-Westphalia German state government. The funding will support the construction of the company’s commercial demonstration plant in Brainergy Park, Jülich.
Synhelion’s commercial demonstration plant will build on the successful operation of its first plant, DAWN, also in Brainergy Park, Jülich, according to the report.
“Being selected under the Produktives.NRW program is a strong endorsement of our technology and commercialization strategy, and we are grateful to the state of North Rhine-Westphalia for supporting our project. By building our next plant in Jülich, we are strengthening Germany as an industrial location for renewable synthetic fuels and contributing to a more resilient, diversified, and less import dependent energy supply in Europe,” said Philipp Furler, Co-CEO and Co-Founder of Synhelion.
