Solabia to acquire fellow active ingredient maker Mibelle Biochemistry
In Switzerland, Solabia Group, a leader in biotechnology-driven active ingredients for health and beauty, has entered into an agreement to acquire Mibelle Biochemistry, a company focused on development and production of unique, active ingredients for the cosmetics, nutraceutical, and food industries, from Persán. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Founded in 1991 in Switzerland as part of the Mibelle Group, Mibelle Biochemistry offers a science‑backed portfolio spanning skin beauty, healthy aging, hair care, and cognitive support, with distribution in more than 50 countries.
The acquisition of Mibelle Biochemistry strengthens Solabia’s leadership in natural and high-performance active ingredients.
The transaction is expected to close in the coming months. Financial terms were not disclosed.
