Givaudan breaks ground on natural perfumery ingredients campus

February 23, 2026 |

In France, Givaudan has broken ground on Campus 52, a new CHF 55 million (US$71 million) center of excellence for natural ingredients for perfumers.

The center is being built in Grasse, “the historic cradle of perfumery,” according to Givaudan. Campus 52 will house a production facility and an innovation laboratory, foster close collaboration between scientists and partners, and boost perfumers’ inspiration.

“The new campus will host development and production capabilities designed to deliver exclusive, high‑quality natural ingredients,” Gilles Andrier, CEO, said in a press statement. “Givaudan’s perfumers are at the heart of fragrance creation, and ‘Campus 52’ will enrich their palette with even more exceptional natural ingredients, to craft the best fragrances of tomorrow.”
