Rain improves soybean and corn conditions in Argentina, says exchange.
In Argentina, Reuters reported that Argentina’s soybean and corn crops received favorable rains last week, improving growing conditions for both commodities.
The Buenos Aires Grain Exchange estimated the 2025/26 soybean crop at 48.5 million tons and the corn crop at 57 million tons.
Soybean water conditions, considered “adequate/optimal,” increased by 4.2 percentage points compared to the previous week, reaching 88% of the total planted area, the exchange reported.
Approximately 94.9% of the planted corn area has adequate to optimal water conditions. Corn harvesting progress is at 19% of the total planted area, the exchange reported.
