In Argentina, Reuters reported that the condition of Argentina’s 2025/26 soybean crop improved again in the last week thanks to new rains in important producing areas, the Buenos Aires Grain Exchange (BdeC) said, estimating current crop production at 48.5 million tons.

“Recent rainfall improved crop conditions, with 76.2% now in the Normal/Excellent category,” reporting a week-on-week increase of 2 percentage points, the BdeC said in its weekly crop report.

Regarding the 2025/26 corn crop, the entity said that Argentine producers have harvested 9.4% of the area sown with the cereal and that recent rainfall has also favored plant development.

According to the Stock Exchange, Argentina, the world’s third largest exporter of corn, will produce 57 million tons in the current season.
