Stadtwerke München sign letter of intent to join Northern Germany’s largest decentralized hydrogen hub
In the UK, Fuel Cells Works reported that Stadtwerke München (SWM) and Swiss company Infener AG have signed a Letter of Intent for SWM to take a stake in the planned hydrogen hub in Neumünster.
For SWM, the Neumünster hub represents a promising pilot project to position themselves strategically for the anticipated ramp-up of the hydrogen economy.
Tobias Bergmann, Mayor of Neumünster, said: “The signed agreement and strategic partnership between Infener and Stadtwerke München marks an important step towards realizing the H2 Hub in Neumünster. Our aim is to create the right conditions for innovative energy projects at this location. With its position and infrastructure, Neumünster offers an excellent foundation.”
