Rosario Stock Exchange cuts Argentine soybean harvest estimate, raises corn forecast
In Argentina, Reuters reported that the Rosario Board of Trade (BCR) cut its estimate for Argentina’s 2026/27 soybean harvest to 47.8 million tons, while raising its forecast for 2026/27 corn production to between 67.5 and 70.5 million tons.
Last month the BCR had estimated soybean production at 48 million tons and corn production at 66 million tons, according to the report.
In the case of the 2026/27 wheat crop, the Rosario Grain Exchange raised its harvest estimate for the cereal by 500,000 tons, to 21 million tons, it added.
