In Illinois, Profile launched a new interactive website for its free PS3 tool for those in any soil-based industry such as construction, landscape, golf courses, highways, land reclamation and turf markets. The PS3 tool is a software program that helps users to better plan for and manage erosion, vegetation and surfaces. The tool is mobile friendly and allows users to customize their inputs based on their soil testing results and the project site’s physical properties such as slope gradients and climate. The PS3 tool then interprets the data and offers appropriate recommendations for that specific project and user. It even goes a step further by providing information on proper installation practices and handy documents for users to track and maintain erosion control techniques. Profile touts the program as a way to help professionals create more environmentally friendly projects while saving them time and money.
