In Italy and Germany, luxury fashion house Gucci and sneaker giant adidas have partnered to create a colorful streetwear line that emphasizes sustainable components.
Dubbed Gazelle, the designs include “sustainable, renewable, and bio-based” materials,” although more specifics other than cotton were not included. Sneakers from the collection will set you back $850, although the hats are a more reasonable $560.
“Designed by Creative Director Alessandro Michele, adidas x Gucci merges the emblems of the House with those of the iconic sportswear brand,” according to gucci’s website. “The collection expands on the sartorial streetwear creations with a spectrum of sport-inspired pieces in which the heritage of both brands is encoded in a trio of lines.”
