The collaborative kicks, which run for $850, were designed by Gucci creative director Alessandro Michele in the classic adidas Gazelle style but with Gucci accents, like trefoil print on the tongue and a sporty GG monogram. The shoes are made of a new vegan leather material developed by Gucci. Dubbed Demetra after the Greek harvest goddess, the material is renewable but additional details were not disclosed. Both adidas and Gucci logos appear on the heels.
The pricey sneakers are available in several colors. Styles, who Rolling Stone reports is personal friends with Michele, wore red velvet in Berlin, yellow in Madrid, and burgundy in Stockholm.
