In New York, a plant-based toothpaste company that counts Grammy-winning rocker Lenny Kravitz as its chief creative officer has expanded into offering mouthwash, whitening pens, floss, and toothbrushes.

Twice aims to donate 10% of its profits to Glo Good Foundation, which provides free dental care in underserved regions, once it becomes profitable.  The foundation is run by Kravitz’s dentist Jonathan Levine, who is also father to Twice cofounders Cody and Julian Levine.

For now, Twice is donating products, which are colored bright yellow to represent “sunshine and love and light,” the rocker tells Fast Company.  “And we use only the best ingredients. We’re not putting harmful additives and things in our products. And, really, we’re representing love. It sounds very sort of esoteric like that, but this is about humanity. This is about love. This is about having everybody be included. We’re not just representing the textbook mouth. A healthy mouth comes in all kinds of shapes and patterns and formations.”
