In Las Vegas, tennis superstar Venus Williams and boxed bedmaker GhostBed are debuting a line of mattresses at the upcoming Winter Las Vegas Market meeting. The mattresses feature a soy-based foam layer as well as a far infrared technology layer, dubbed Venus FIT, that absorbs body temperature for a cooling effect that also increases blood flow, and thus muscle recovery.

“We can’t wait to see the reaction of our customers and from the many retailers who have made appointments with us to see the full collection for the first time at the market,” Marc Werner, president and CEO of GhostBed, tells Furniture Today.  “Retailers who floor the line can expect a huge lift to their traffic as Venus and GhostBed have a huge following across all marketing channels.”

Queen mattresses in the collection run from $1,799 to $2,999.
