In Texas, Hollywood heavy hitters Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard have picked Waco as the site of a new production and distribution facility for their natural baby care company, Hello Bello.

The pair’s product line includes diapers made from plant-based absorbents and sustainably harvested fluff pulp. Wipes, toiletries, and cleaning supplies are also being sold.

The $31-million, 312,000-square-foot site at Waco is expected to be ready  for operations in summer 2021 and ultimately create 110 jobs.

Bell and Shepard started Hello Bello in 2019. Its executive team includes Sean Kane, who previously cofounded The Honest Co. with actress Jessica Alba, and Jay McGraw, son of television therapist Dr. Phil. “As two Texas natives, we’re thrilled to bring a piece of our Hello Bello business and invest in Waco and the Texas community,” Kane and McGraw said in a statement. “As our company continues to experience significant growth, this new next-generation facility will allow us to scale operations.”
