DuPont, Lenzing launch renewable fabric collection

In Delaware, DuPont Biomaterials and Lenzing have launched a biobased fabric collection based on blends of DuPont’s Sorona fibers and Lenzing’s TENCEL Lyocell and Modal fibers.

The new line includes fabrics are suitable for active wear, ready-to-wear, intimate apparel and denim. Sorona is made from 37% renewable plant-based materials, while TENCEL fibers are produced from wood.
