In the United Kingdom, French artist Saype has completed a massive biodegradable mural on a New Brighton hillside.

Ranked as one of the 30 most influential artists by Forbes, Saype used paint made from chalk and charcoal to paint the image of a boy in a toy airplane circling the moon onto the grass.

The 5,000 square meter painting—completed on Sunday, September 8—will likely disappear within days. It was commissioned by Wirral Council and Culture Liverpool and is meant to invoke the themes of exploration and discovery.
