In Washington, D.C., a custom Renewable Fuels Association ethanol motorcycle by Paul Jr. Designs will be featured Monday, June 11, on the reality TV show “American Chopper.” The motorcycle project is part of RFA’s recently announced $1 million “Fuel Your Knowledge” campaign to educate and inform consumers about the proper use of ethanol-blended fuels in motorcycles and other small engines.

RFA Vice President of Industry Relations Robert White took part in the filming of the episode with Paul Teutul, Jr. The unveil of the motorcycle was filmed at East Kansas Agri-Energy, an RFA member company in Garnett, Kan.

The “Fuel Your Knowledge” campaign is designed to help educate bikers about the realities of compatability and the benefits of ethanol. E10 (10% ethanol) has been used in motorcycles as a safe and cost saving alternative to straight gasoline for decades. In fact, every motorcycle manufacturer endorses the use of E10, while some approve the use of even higher blends.
