In California, Kush Bottles, Inc., originally a packaging and supplies company for cannabis dispensaries and growers, is expanding with its new Product Development and Genomics Lab that will focus on developing new terpene formulations. Terpenes are aroma chemicals produced naturally in plants and trees and used globally in fragrances and flavors.
The new lab will be headed up by Wayne Green as Director of Science and Innovation for the development of terpene-based products. He has over 20 years experience in biotech development of natural products and genomic technologies in agricultural industries. Green co-founded Trinity Terpenes and led scientists at Yulex, a genomics breeding program prior to joining Kush Bottles.
