In Nebraska, Green Plains Renewable Energy has announced that it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Global Ethanol. The total transaction is seen approximately $169 million and is subject to customary closing conditions and regulatory approvals, which are expected to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2010.
