MarinaChain and Green Marine launch AI fuel procurement platform Verdaxis
In Singapore, maritime technology company MarinaChain and environmental certification body Green Marine have launched Verdaxis, a joint venture offering an artificial intelligence-enabled platform for green marine fuel procurement and regulatory compliance.
The platform connects buyers and sellers of alternative marine fuels including methanol and biofuels, and is designed to help operators navigate European Union Emissions Trading System and FuelEU Maritime compliance requirements.
Verdaxis launches in Singapore with planned expansion to Rotterdam, Houston and Shanghai.
