Loganair signs 15-year SAF offtake agreement with ClimaHtech Green Flight
In the UK, UK regional airline Loganair and ClimaHtech Green Flight announced a 15-year SAF offtake agreement.
The SAF will be produced using ClimaHtech Green Flight’s advanced technology pathways, including BioSAF and eSAF.
ClimaHtech Green Flight’s technology enables decentralized SAF production that can utilize waste biomass feedstocks and flexibly operate alongside intermittent renewable power sources through its proprietary technology.
The agreement supports the UK Government’s SAF mandate and reflects a shared ambition to develop locally produced, scalable SAF solutions that can serve regional aviation close to their operations while reducing lifecycle carbon emissions, the airline said.
