Irizar and Scania launch hybrid electric bus running on B100 or HVO100
In Australia, Australian Bus and Coach report Irizar and Scania have teamed up to build a hybrid electric bus that can run on B100 or HVO100 as bus operators in the country seek a bridge to transition to net zero transportation on their way to going fully electric without yet having to invest in new infrastructure. Using B100 or HVO100 can reduce transportation emissions by 92% in city buses and will now be applied to longer routes in the coach sector.
