FrieslandCampina teams with Future Fuels to offer farmers HVO100 at a fixed price
In the Netherlands, FrieslandCampina, through a collaboration with Future Fuels, member dairy farmers can now more easily switch to renewable diesel (HVO100). This fuel emits up to 90 percent less CO₂ than conventional diesel.
Promoting the use of renewable diesel is part of a partnership between FrieslandCampina and Future Fuels. For a period of one year, member dairy farmers can purchase the fuel at a fixed price. The data required to demonstrate emission reductions is processed automatically so that the results are included in Foqus planet, FrieslandCampina’s sustainability programme. Through Foqus planet, member dairy farmers are rewarded for their sustainability efforts, such as lowering their emissions.
