Hystar launches Orion, a large-scale PEM electrolyzer plant solution
In Norway, Hystar AS announced the launch of Orion, its 20 MW Cluster designed for large-scale hydrogen production.
“Orion will enable standardisation and accelerated deployment of large-scale green hydrogen projects,” said Fredrik Mowill, CEO of Hystar. “By combining high efficiency with a modular, cluster-based design, we enable our partners to scale projects quickly while also reducing both capex and opex.”
The launch builds on Hystar’s collaboration with McDermott to develop a turnkey 100 MW green hydrogen plant design, optimized for scalability, flexibility, safety, and cost efficiency. The integrated plant design is intended to offer customers a ready-to-deploy solution that reduces technical risk, simplifies procurement, and shortens time to market, the firm said.
