Ethanol production slips but remains near high levels while exports soar
In Washington, Brownfield Ag News reports that Energy Information Administration data shows ethanol production slipped to 1.107 million barrels last week, down by 26,000 barrels from the week before, but levels still remained near record highs. Strong demand saw stocks fall 202,000 barrels on the week to 24.524 million barrels while exports jumped to a four-week high at an average of 200,000 barrels per day, an increase of more than 30% from the week prior.
