Deendayal Port breaks ground on $240 million e-methanol plant
In Singapore, Splash Port reported that India’s Deendayal Port has broken ground on a $240 million e-methanol plant at Kandla in Gujarat.
The 150 tons-per-day facility is being developed by Assam Petro-Chemicals Limited in association with Deendayal Port Authority and will add green fuel production capacity directly within the port complex, according to the report.
The plant is being developed as part of the two organizations’ push to establish e-methanol production for the maritime sector, the report added.
