Corn harvesting advances to 18.8% in Brazil, Conab says
In Brazil, Noticias Agricolas reported that harvesting activities for the second corn crop are progressing across Brazil. According to Conab’s crop monitoring data, as of July 26, 18.8% of the second crop areas had already been harvested.
This index rose from 11% recorded the previous week and is ahead of the 17% of the same period in 2025, however, it is below the 24.6% average of the last five years, according to the report.
The states most advanced in the harvest are Mato Grosso (34.4%), Tocantins (28%), Maranhão (20%), Piauí (18%), Minas Gerais (7%), Goiás and Paraná (3%), São Paulo and Mato Grosso do Sul (2%).
