Corn harvest reaches 90.4% in Brazil
In Brazil, Noticias Agricolas reported that the harvest of the second corn crop has advanced to 90.4% of the cultivated area in Brazil, according to a survey released by the National Supply Company (Conab). The previous week, harvesting had reached 84.7% of the fields.
Despite the progress, the pace remains below the 94.8% recorded in the same period of 2025 and also slightly lower than the average of the last five years, which was 91.1%.
Among the main producing states, Mato Grosso has finished harvesting. According to Conab, even in areas with sandy soils, yields were above initial estimates.
