Conab raises its 2025/26 grain harvest forecast to 358 million tons

In Brazil, CNN Brasil reported that National Supply Company (Conab) has raised its projection for the 2025/26 Brazilian grain harvest by 5.7 million tons, to 358 million tons, 1.6% higher than the last cycle. 

Soybean production is expected to reach 180.1 million tons, the highest volume ever recorded in the company’s historical series. This estimate represents a 0.5% adjustment compared to the previous forecast, equivalent to an additional 978,000 tons. To date, 98.3% of the cultivated area has already been harvested. Compared to the 2024/25 crop, the expectation is for growth of 8.6 million tons, an increase of 5%, according to the report.

Exports of the oilseed are expected to reach 116 million tons, a 7.25% increase compared to the 2024/25 cycle, it added.
