Citroniq, Premier Product Marketing ink biobased PP distribution deal
In Houston, petrochemicals distributor Premier Product Marketing has signed a 15-year binding offtake agreement for biobased polypropylene manufactured by Citroniq. The deal represents half of the output from Citroniq’s planned facility in Nebraska, which is expected to begin production in 2029.
Under the terms of the agreement, Premier Product Marketing will leverage its extensive international network and expertise in petrochemical logistics and market development to support the global marketing and distribution of Citroniq’s biobased PP.
Tradenamed OrganiqPP®, Citroniq’s biobased PP serves as a direct drop-in replacement for conventional fossil-based polypropylene, enabling meaningful carbon reductions without requiring changes to existing manufacturing processes.
