CHARBONE launches green hydrogen hub in Albany
In India, BioEnergy Times reported that CHARBONE Corporation has launched its first green hydrogen hub in Albany, marking its entry into the United States and expanding its clean industrial gas network in North America.
The company said the Albany facility is its third operational hub overall and the first in the US, operated through its subsidiary, Charbone Corporation USA. The site is expected to support the company’s growing presence in the Northeast, a region known for its concentration of technology and manufacturing industries, according to the report.
Located within a major technology corridor, the hub will supply ultra-high purity hydrogen and other industrial gases to sectors such as semiconductors, artificial intelligence, healthcare, aerospace and advanced manufacturing, it added.
According to the company, the facility is part of its broader plan to develop a decentralized network for producing and distributing industrial gases based on regional demand.
