Brazil’s soybean production will grow by 3.7% in the 2025/26 season

In Ukraine, UkrAgroConsult reported that Brazilian consulting firm Safras & Mercado, estimated that soybean production in Brazil in the 2025/26 season will increase by 3.7% compared to the previous harvest, reaching 178.11 million metric tons. 

This is a slight increase from the previously projected 177.72 million tons, according to the report.

The consulting firm forecasts a 1.8% increase in soybean acreage to 48.48 million hectares compared to 47.64 million hectares in the previous season.

Despite the increased production, soybean exports from Brazil in 2026 are projected to decline to 105 million tons, a 3% decrease from 108.18 million tons in 2025.
