Brazil’s 2025/26 soybean harvest reaches 59.2%, Conab says
In Brazil, Compre Rural reported that Brazil harvested 59.2% of the planted area of soybeans in the 2025/26 crop year, the 14th, according to the National Supply Company (Conab) in its weekly crop progress survey. The harvesting of the oilseed advanced 8.6 percentage points in one week, but remains below the 69.8% recorded in the same period last year. Among the main producing states, Mato Grosso leads in harvesting, with 96.4% of the area harvested. Tocantins (58%), Maranhão (23%), Piauí (26%), Bahia (45%), Mato Grosso do Sul (68%), Goiás (70%), Minas Gerais (52%), São Paulo (50%), Paraná (60%) and Santa Catarina (21.1%) have also registered progress in harvesting. In Rio Grande do Sul, where work begins later, only 2% of the area has been harvested.
