Biofuels Digest Index jumps to 63.53 as ethanol recovers

The Biofuels Digest Index, an index of publicly traded biofuels stocks, jumped 1.16 percent to 63.53. For the day, Aemetis (AMTX) soared 16.00 percent to $0.29, while Codexis (CDXS) dropped 4.52 percent to $1.48. Among other equities, Solazyme (SZYM) rebounded 2.95 percent to $8.38. Overall, advances led declines 3 to 1 for the day.
