Biofuels Digest Index drops to 66.04 as ethanol equities tumble

The Biofuels Digest Index, an index of publicly traded biofuels stocks, dropped 0.92 percent to 66.04 as ethanol equities tumbled. For the day, Aemetis (AMTX) fell 5.16 percent to $0.28, while Biofuel Energy (BIOF) dropped 3.47 percent to $3.34. Among other equities, Renewable Energy Group (REGI) rebounded 4.22 percent to $11.37. Overall, declines led advances 2 to 1 for the day.
