Bentley Motors commits to use of 100% SAF for airfreight
In the UK, Bentley Motors has announced that it will use SAF for all customer car airfreight movements worldwide. The firm noted that the commitment applies immediately and represents a significant step forward in its global logistics decarbonization strategy.
Aimee Kelly, Head of Sustainability at Bentley Motors, commented: “Our transition to using certified SAF across all customer car airfreight movements reflects how we are taking measurable, evidence based steps to reduce emissions in the parts of our logistics network where flights remain necessary. SAF can deliver significant, independently verified reductions in life cycle CO2e emissions compared with conventional jet fuel and this makes it a meaningful lever within our wider decarbonization strategy.”
By switching to SAF in cases where flights are essential, Bentley said it is significantly reducing emissions associated with air transport.
