AMPS, Cultigen Group partner to accelerate cultivated food

September 21, 2026 |

In Washington, D.C., the Association for Meat, Poultry and Seafood Innovation has partnered with UK-based cultivated food platform provider Cultigen Group to create a suite of platforms that give cultivated food producers, vendors, scientists and researchers new tools to connect and scale their businesses.

The collaboration combines the strengths of AMPS, a flagship cultivated food trade association in North America, with those of a founder-led group with a strong background in digital commerce, consumer experience and ethical entrepreneurship.

The deal comes as cultivated food companies face high production costs, complex regulatory approvals, limited manufacturing capacity and the challenge of winning consumer acceptance.

“More than just scale, we see this collaboration as a vital way to accelerate the industry, foster new revenue and communication channels, and transform how cultivated foods enter the mainstream around the world,” AMPS said. “We encourage all companies, researchers and enabling technologies in this space to seek out Cultigen to see how engaging these platforms can help AMPLIFY your business.”
