Air Products advances new hydrogen liquefier in Rotterdam
In the UK, Fuel Cells Works reported that Air Products announced a significant construction milestone on its new liquid hydrogen facility in the Port of Rotterdam.
The facility, now at an advanced stage of construction and over 65% complete, reflects a major step in reinforcing and modernizing Air Products current hydrogen footprint in the Netherlands, according to the report.
Air Products’ liquid hydrogen customers span multiple new and emerging sectors, including electronics manufacturing, space applications, industrial processing, and emerging energy. These markets require reliable supply, proven logistics and infrastructure to operate competitively and meet evolving regulatory requirements.
The new liquefier will be supplied through Air Products integrated hydrogen network in the region, including production from its multiple hydrogen sources in the industrial cluster.
