Russia sets zero tariffs on grain exports to international markets

In Jordan, Jordan News reported that the Russian Ministry of Agriculture announced that customs duties on grain exports to international markets have been set at zero until the end of next month, amid expectations of an increased grain yield during the current harvest season.

The Russian Ministry of Agriculture stated in a press release: “The export tax on wheat, barley, and corn has been registered at ‘zero’ rubles per ton, continuing the same approach followed over the past few weeks, in a significant step to encourage grain exports of wheat, corn, and barley.”
