Winter corn harvest reaches 49.8% of the area in Brazil, Conab says
In Brazil, UOL reported that the second corn crop harvest in Brazil reached 49.8% of the area by July 18, an advance of 10.9 percentage points compared to the previous week, according to data by the National Supply Company (Conab).
Compared to the same period of the last crop, when 55.5% of the area had been harvested, current work is behind by 6.6 percentage points. Compared to the average of the last five years, of 56.7%, there is also a delay, according to Conab.
