Wheat planted area in Brazil expected to grow 5.2% in 2025
In Brazil, Globo Rural reported that the area planted with wheat in Brazil is expected to grow by 5.2% in 2025, totaling 3.105 million hectares, according to recent estimates by Brazilian consultancy Safras & Mercado.
In 2024, the area reached 2.95 million hectares. The expected growth of 155,000 only recovers part of the reduction of more than 400,000 hectares recorded last year, the report added.
