Vibra Energia to source $250M of hydrous ethanol from Inpasa

In Brazil, MoneyTimes reports Vibra Energia signed a contract with Inpasa Agroindustrial for the supply of hydrous ethanol destined to the supply of its network of stations, with an estimated value of R$ 1.28 billion, the company said on Friday.

The agreement was signed on September 10, with retroactive effect to September 1, 2026 and ended on August 31, 2029. The amount considers the volume and price estimates for the contractual period.

According to the distributor, the contracting occurred in conditions compatible with those practiced in the market, in the same trading window made available to the other plants supplying hydrated ethanol. The evaluation considered factors such as price, supply capacity, location of the producing units and logistics costs.

The pricing uses Esalq indicators provided for in the contract, plus the applicable logistical differentials and taxes. No specific guarantees were made for the operation.
