US ethanol production rises to 4.56 billion gallon annual rate
In Washington, according to EIA data as analyzed by the Renewable Fuels Association, US ethanol production averaged 943,000 barrels per day (b/d)—or 39.61 million gallons daily. That is up 5,000 b/d from the week before. The four-week average for ethanol production stood at 950,000 b/d for an annualized rate of 14.56 billion gallons.
Stocks of ethanol stood at 18.8 million barrels. That is a 0.6% decrease from last week. Imports of ethanol were zero b/d for the week. Gasoline demand for the week averaged 378.9 million gallons (9.021 million barrels) daily. Refiner/blender input of ethanol averaged 881,000 b/d.
