Ukraine’s agricultural exports grow y-o-y in Jan-Feb

March 22, 2026 |

In Ukraine, Odessa Journal reported that Ukraine exported 9.95 million tons of agricultural products worth a total of $4 billion during the first two months of the year. Compared to the same period in 2025, export volumes remained nearly unchanged, while foreign currency revenues grew by 9.3%, according to government data.

The largest export commodities remain corn, sunflower oil, wheat, soybeans, and meat.

In January–February, corn exports increased by 20% to 5.6 million tons, partly due to higher shipments to Turkey. Meanwhile, wheat exports fell by 43% to 1.2 million tons, largely due to reduced demand from the European Union, where a strong harvest was recorded in 2025.
