Ukraine launches its biomethane registry to boost exports
In Ukraine, the State Agency on Energy Efficiency and Energy Saving of Ukraine has officially launched the Register of Biomethane – the state digital system of accounting, verification and confirmation of the origin of renewable gas. The biomethane register is an information and communication system designed to register biomethane volumes submitted to the gas transmission or gas distribution system and selected from them, accounting for liquefied and compressed biomethane, as well as for the formation, transfer, distribution or repayment of guarantees of origin and the provision of relevant certificates.
