Ukraine keeps 2026/27 grain crop and export forecasts unchanged
In Ukraine, APK Inform reported that Ministry of Economy of Ukraine is maintaining its forecasts for grain production and exports in the 2026/27 MY and does not see any critical factors that could significantly alter the crop planting structure in 2027.
Deputy Minister of Economy, Environment and Agriculture Taras Vysotskyi said that the ministry expects Ukraine’s grain harvest in 2026 to reach 60 million tons, nearly matching the previous year’s level. Grain exports in the 2026/27 season are forecast at 43 million tons.
Vysotskyi also noted that Ukraine has almost completed its 2026 planting campaign and that the crop structure is likely to remain largely unchanged next year.
“We do not currently see any factors that could significantly change the crop planting structure for the 2027 harvest,” he said.
