TruAlt Bioenergy to expand ethanol production by 270,000 liters per day
In India, the Press Trust of India reports TruAlt Bioenergy will expand its ethanol production by 270,000 liters per day in the next fiscal year and is set to invest up to $72 million setting up 10 other ethanol plants. Current production is around 2 million liters per day at 5 facilities. The company is also jointly investing a similar amount with GAIL setting up compressed biogas plants that will produce 100,000kg of biogas each from organic and food waste.
