Topsoe and Sasol chosen as technology providers for SUSTAERO’s SAF project in Canada
In Denmark, Topsoe and Sasol have signed a single point licensing agreement with SUSTAERO, a developer of SAF production infrastructure in Canada.
Under the agreement, Topsoe and Sasol will provide its gas-to-liquid synfuels (G2L) technology with Topsoe’s hydrogen production, gas reforming and hydroprocessing solutions, integrated with Sasol’s Fischer-Tropsch and treatment technologies.
When fully operational, the facility is expected to produce 3,200 barrels per day +(BPD) of SAF with expansion potential of three times to initial capacity, said Topsoe.
SUSTAERO expects to take final investment decision in 2028 with expected operations in 2031.
