Tokyo Metropolitan University’s Research Center for Hydrogen Energy-based Society joins the Global Institute for Hydrogen and Fuel Cells
In Japan, the Research Center for Hydrogen Energy-based Society at Tokyo Metropolitan University has entered into a partnership agreement with the Global Institute for Hydrogen and Fuel Cells (GIHF) and joined its international network.
GIHF is an independent, globally-connected nongovernmental and non-commercial nonprofit organization that connects universities, research institutions, and experts around the world in the field of hydrogen and fuel cells, promoting the sharing of scientific knowledge and data, research and innovation, and talent development.
Going forward, the center will collaborate through participation in international conferences and workshops organized by or held in collaboration with GIHF, research exchange with universities and research institutions overseas, and talent development for students and early-career researchers. Through its participation in GIHF, the center will further expand collaboration with research institutions in Japan and abroad from its base in Tokyo, bring research outcomes in hydrogen and fuel cells to society, and further advance educational and research activities toward realizing a decarbonized society.
