Thailand adjusts fuel fund levies and subsidies including support for B20 biodiesel

November 2, 2026 |

In Thailand, Thaiger reports the Oil Fuel Fund Committee has introduced new levy and subsidy rates effective November 1, 2026, applying to domestically produced and imported fuels. Regular high-speed diesel receives a subsidy of THB 3.90 per liter, while B20 biodiesel receives THB 5.82 per liter. Gasohol E85 also receives support of THB 1.32 per liter. By contrast, Gasohol E20 contributes THB 0.22 per liter to the fund, and Gasohol 91 and 95 each contribute THB 0.35. The rates determine payments into and out of the Oil Fuel Fund; they are not direct changes to retail pump prices.
