Thai conglomerate Bangchak aims to produce SAF via JV scheme
In Thailand, Bangkok Post reported that Thai energy conglomerate Bangchak Corporation plans to start
producing SAF from used cooking oil through a JV scheme.
The SAF production plant is expected to enter into operations in the last quarter of 2024.
Earlier this year, Bangchak, BBGI and Thanachok Oil Light Co. had signed a JV to produce SAF, with a
targeted production of 1 million liters per day.
Bangchak owns 51% of the JV, according to the report.
